FAQ's
ORDERS AND SHIPPING
When will my order ship?
Most in-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days. If an item needs additional time, we’ll let you know. Delivery time depends on the shipping method and destination. Need something for a particular job or date? Contact us before ordering so we can check availability and timing.
How do I track my order?
You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships. If you can’t find your shipping confirmation, contact us with your order number and the email address used at checkout.
Can you help me choose the right product before I order?
Absolutely. Send us your welding machine’s make and model, what you’re connecting or replacing, and a photo of your current connections if possible. Tell us the process you’re using, your desired lead length, and whether your setup is air-cooled or water-cooled. We’ll help you narrow down the right equipment.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Can I return an item if I ordered the wrong one or no longer need it?
Yes. You can request a return within 30 days of delivery for an eligible item purchased directly from our website. It must be unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition with its packaging and included parts. We do not charge a restocking fee. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return shipping cost. See our full Return & Exchange Policy for details and exceptions.
Can I exchange an item for a different version?
Yes, if the original item meets the return conditions and the replacement is available. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the item you need instead. You pay to ship the original item back if you selected the wrong version. We’ll explain any price difference and replacement shipping before completing the exchange.
Can I return consumables?
Unopened or unused consumables may be returned within 30 days if they are in resalable condition. Consumables that have been installed, welded with, modified, or contaminated are not eligible for a change-of-mind return. If you believe an item arrived defective, contact us so we can review it.
What if my order arrives damaged or you sent the wrong item?
Contact us as soon as you notice the problem. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging if available. We’ll work with you to correct the order, and Heavy Hitters will cover return shipping when we sent the wrong item or a return is needed for an item that arrived damaged or defective.
TIG RIGS AND TORCH HEADS
What makes Heavy Hitters different?
We build welding gear for real work — in the shop and in the field. Our lineup includes TIG rigs, torch heads, cables, adapters, MIG guns, accessories, and the replacement parts and consumables needed to keep them working. We focus on practical equipment, dependable performance, and products that are easy to maintain and replace when the job calls for it. If you have a question about your setup, our team is here to help you find the right fit.
Are Heavy Hitters torch heads flexible?
We offer flexible torch head options. Check the individual product description to confirm the head you’re buying. Flex a torch head carefully; repeated or excessive bending can damage it.
What does “V” mean in a torch head part number?
A “V” in a Heavy Hitters torch head part number indicates a valve. A comparable part number without the “V” indicates a head without a valve. If you’re unsure which version your setup needs, contact us before ordering.
Do Heavy Hitters torch heads require special consumables?
Our torch heads use commonly available TIG consumable styles. We also sell compatible standard TIG consumables and mini rig consumables on our website. Match consumables to your specific torch series; if you’re unsure, send us the torch model or a photo.
Will a Heavy Hitters torch head fit my existing power cable?
That depends on the torch series and the cable’s connection. Our heads are available in common TIG configurations, but a fit should be checked against your actual setup. Send us the cable or torch model and a photo of the connection, and we’ll help confirm the right head.
How do I know which TIG rig or adapter will connect to my welder?
Start with your machine’s make and model and its power and gas connections. Some setups connect directly; others need a specific adapter or pigtail. Browse our adapters and connectors, or contact us with photos of your current connections.
What is the difference between an air-cooled and a water-cooled TIG rig?
An air-cooled rig does not need a water cooler and is often a practical choice for portable setups. A water-cooled rig requires a compatible cooling system and can be more comfortable during sustained welding. Choose based on your machine, cooling setup, application, and the ratings shown on the individual product page.
Can I buy replacement parts instead of a complete rig?
Often, yes. We sell torch heads, compatible consumables, adapters, and other TIG accessories. If you can’t find the part you need, contact us with your rig model and a photo of the part.
MIG AND OTHER PRODUCTS
Does Heavy Hitters sell products beyond TIG rigs?
Yes. Our lineup also includes MIG guns and consumables, electrode holders, clamps, welding accessories, PPE, and apparel.
How do I choose a MIG gun or replacement consumable?
Check the machine connection, gun model, amperage rating, length, and the consumable details on the product page. If you’re replacing a gun or part, contact us with the machine make and model and the part number or a photo of what you currently use.
WARRANTY AND SUPPORT
What is the difference between a return and a warranty claim?
A return or exchange covers an eligible unused item within 30 days of delivery. The 90-day limited warranty addresses a manufacturing defect discovered after receiving or using covered Heavy Hitters equipment. A used item that develops a problem should be submitted for warranty review, not as a change-of-mind return.
What does the warranty cover?
Covered Heavy Hitters equipment carries a 90-day limited warranty from the date you receive it against defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, consumables, misuse, neglect, improper installation, modification, or damage from improper or excessive flexing of a torch head. Warranty terms for other brands or products may differ; contact us if you’re unsure what applies to your purchase.
How do I request warranty help?
Contact us with your order number, product model, description of the issue, and photos if available. We’ll review the information and explain the next step. Please contact us before shipping a product back.
Where else can I buy Heavy Hitters products?
You can buy directly from this website or through an authorized retailer.
